Students will learn how to develop their own leadership legacy to become confident in their ability to accomplish goals

be motivated to achieve the impossible. This leadership experience through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park enables students to discover Walt Disney's secret to making dreams come true. Students learn how to develop their own leadership legacy, become confident in their ability to accomplish goals and be motivated to achieve the impossible. They are challenged to discover their personal brand, develop core values, have the courage to step out of their comfort zones and understand the importance of diversity as they explore the park and experience exciting attractions.

8th Grade Medieval Times and Knott's Berry Farm

Buena Park, California

Students will have the opportunity to expand their study of civics at Medieval Times. They will learn about citizenship and their role within society by examining Knights and chivalry. Students will summarize the contribution of Knights to the idea of chivalry and its place in society, and will be able to interpret different perspectives and their implications.

At Knott's Berry Farm, through the use of hands-on activities, live demonstrations, genuine artifacts and encounters with historical re-enactments, students participate in interactive learning that impacts the way they process information and retain it. Students will experience American History come to life during guided educational tours that include thrilling journeys to the period of the American Revolutionary War, Westward Movement, Early California, and discovery of Native American culture. Students will also use what they have learned in science to explore geology as well as the Physics of the rides and roller coasters.
