Lunch Menus

Nutrition

PPPS participates in the National School Breakfast and Lunch programs, which helps to foster nutritious eating habits. Good nutrition impacts student success, making it an important part of each child's journey of excellence.

Menus are reviewed annually to ensure that nutrient standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture are met.

The National School Lunch Program provides students who meet certain criteria free or reduced-price meals. Applications are available in our school cafeteria.

The PVSchools Nutrition and Wellness Department is fully committed to providing delectable, nutritious meals that support and elevate learning. The unwavering focus on nourishing eating habits ensures all students are well-equipped for healthier lifestyles.

  • Serves an average of 17,000 meals per day.
  • Serves meals in accordance with the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act 2010, which requires a variety of healthy foods – including whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and low sodium foods.
  • Provides nutritious snacks to 50 after-school and preschool programs.
